Propagating Comfrey root for natural, green plant feed

Here is a video of me propagating new Comfrey plants from my already growing Comfrey. Comfrey leaves, when decomposed, make an amazing natural, green plant feed. You can mulch your plants with the Comfrey leaves or place the leaves in a container and drain the liquid away to use as a liquid feed.

I have one comfrey plant which is blooming and actually has grown a second plant.
It is early May, in north Florida.
My plant (2 years old) is blooming beautifully. I guess it's too late to dig it up and propagate the roots?
Thanks,
Sue hansen

Hi Sue, thanks for commenting. The answer to your question is no, it`s not too late to propagate the roots. Just carefully dig the plant up, break some of the longest pieces of root off, cut them into small root segments, plant those segments and in a week or two you`ll have new plants. Good luck and maybe come back and let me know how it went. If you have any other questions then please don`t hesitate to ask.
